About Us

Since 1986, Proactive Technologies, Inc. has equipped employers of all industries – especially manufacturing – with structured on-the-job training development infrastructures and provided technical/program management support including project documentation and reporting services. This worker training system facilitates the “accelerated transfer of expertise” from existing expert workers to new-hire, transferring or cross-training workers – driving both new-hires and incumbent workers to full job mastery.

This approach reduces the employer’s internal costs of training while increasing worker capacity, work quality and quantity, and process/safety compliance. And, unlike repetitive-cost classroom or online training, the cost per each additional trainee declines once the investment in establishing the structured on-the-job training program is made.

slide1

We work with many employers, a large number of them manufacturers, to set up structured on-the-job training programs designed to their exact job classification(s), built to train incumbent and new-hire workers to “full job mastery” – still the most elusive goal most employers face and the key to closing the “skills gap.” Under-capacity of workers is an enormous source of untapped value and unrealized return on worker investment.

Projects have been established domestically and internationally, including those in states such as Colorado, Florida, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina and Washington DC as well as internationally in Canada, Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago and Germany.

In Addition, Proactive Technologies provides a range of related technical support capabilities, such as:

  • Illustrated Technical Procedure Development
  • Written Exam/Answer Set Development
  • Employee Pre-Hire/Post-Hire Assessment Selection/Validation (Content-Validated)
  • Ongoing PROTECH Training for Human Resources Personnel, Departmental Trainers, Area Supervisors
  • Job Safety Analysis
  • And Much More!

Proactive Technologies takes great pride in each project it is involved in and does its very best to help make every project a success.

(Mountain Time) The philosophy behind, and development/implementation of, structured on-the-job training; the many benefits the employer can realize from the PROTECH© system of managed human resource development in more that just the training area; examples of projects across all industries, including manufacturing and manufacturing support companies. When combined with related technical instruction, this approach has been easily registered as an apprenticeship-focusing the structured on-the-job training on exactly what are the required tasks of the job. Registered or not, this approach is the most effective way to train workers to full capacity in the shortest amount of time –cutting internal costs of training while increasing worker capacity, productivity, work quality and quantity, and compliance.  Approx 45 minutes.

(Mountain Time) The philosophy behind, and development/implementation of, structured on-the-job training; how any employer can benefit from the PROTECH© system of managed human resource development in more that just the training area; building related technical instruction/structured on-the-job training programs and supporting them for employers across all industries. ISO/AS/TS and similar quality programs have a requirement that: standardize work processes guide quality, auditable task performance; training matches the process; training is documented for each worker; and a system is in place to ensure all are up to date and in sync. In addition to hiring, structured on-the-job training and performance evaluation instruments, PROTECH produces reports such as Technical Document (best practice for each task), Qualification/ Certification Checklists and more. One-revision updates all materials! Efforts like Lean, Kaisen, continuous improvement strategies all can render a lesser model obsolete and non-compliant in a few months. This model provides the lacking support needed to employers who want to easily and cost-effectively establish and maintain compliance. Approx. 45 minutes
